I No Longer Recognize My Country
A quick Google search will reveal that there have been at least 172 times individuals have predicted the end of the world. Some of these predictions have been from climate alarmists like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, while others have been based on the Biblical warnings about the end times. Not being much of an alarmist myself, I didn’t bat an eyelash when my sons came home frightened after watching a video at school about the Mayans, who predicted the world would end in 2012. I allayed their fears by explaining that the Bible says, “But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but the Father only.” Climate fanatics don’t particularly disturb me either with their prognosis that the world will end in 10-12 years. Yet, I can’t help but be a little anxious by many events which are currently occurring in our country and throughout the world.
Isaiah 5:20-23 warns us about the end times:
What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever...They take bribes to let the wicked go free, and they punish the innocent.
I am not a theologian nor particularly well-versed in the Bible, but I do take note when it seems the world today is upside down. Consider the following.
Some Clamor for More Abortions in Movies
In a July 17th article this summer, the fashion magazine, Marie Claire, called on Hollywood to make more movies with low- income parents having abortions. The author, Danielle Campoamor, interviewed people--the article doesn’t state how many people--who want to see abortion being portrayed as normal for married couples. She suggests the portrayals should be depicted as “an act of love.” Yeah, all right. How is tearing a baby apart limb-by-limb or crushing his/her skull or burning it alive in a saline solution an act of love? Campoamor, using comments of the interviewees, explains that they feel “abortion should be portrayed as a parenting decision because the children the parents previously allowed to live will feel more loved knowing their unborn sibling was aborted so their lives could be less stressful.”
Uh, I don’t know about you, but killing a baby so siblings can live a happier life sounds absurd and macabre. Did you catch the section which said the parents “allowed” their previous children to live? How decent of them. Murdering innocent children is an abomination and is truly evil, but insisting that movies and television shows depict abortion as commonplace as going to the dentist, is another level of evil. It is promoting and propagandizing people into believing abortion is commonplace and simply a medical procedure. It may be a medical procedure, but it involves two human beings, and in the end only one walks away. What we really need from Hollywood is more depictions of stable families with mothers and fathers who are married and children who are cherished, even the ones not yet born. Leftists are Grooming Your Children for Sex Exploitation
In 1959, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe starred in the classic Some Like it Hot. In it Curtis and Lemon portray musicians hunted by the mob after they witness a hit. To escape the mob, they don women’s clothing and abscond with an all-female band. Then in 1980, Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari, starred in the television show Bosom Buddies. In it, the men, desperate for an affordable apartment in New York, find an economical all-female complex, so they disguise themselves as women in order to snag the apartment. In both scenarios, some 20 years apart, the male characters were heterosexual men forced to use female attire to get out of tough situations. In both, the men show definite interest in the women they encounter which leads to some pretty funny situations.
That was then, but today aberrant and perverse behavior is considered virtuous, something to be emulated. Take, for example, Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH). It began in San Francisco in 2015--no surprise there--but now has chapters in 29 states, three countries, and three continents. For the uninitiated, let me explain what DQSH is according to their own website.
“Drag Queen Story Hour is just what it sounds like--drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dressing up is real.”
First of all, kids already have great imaginations. They don’t need drag queens showing them how to do so, as they play dress-up and at times engage in role reversals all on their own. Oh, and if I wanted to introduce a role model for my grandchildren, it would take the form of a biography about notables like Justice Clarence Thomas or political firebrand Candace Owens or stalwart journalist Molly Hemmingway, not a man pretending to be a woman. However, some would argue having drag queens read small children books is all in fun. Here are a few of the books being read to children by men in drag all in the name of fun: The Hips on a Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish, The Princess Boy, Worm Loves Worm, and Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress. No indoctrination here, right? By the way, did I mention that the intended audience for DQSH is children three to eight years old?
Even PBS got in on the action. Here is a sample Drag Queen Story Hour hosted on the Public Broadcasting Station, supported mostly by your tax dollars. Ask yourself if it’s worth it. Once again the targeted audience is children three to eight years old. Coincidence? Or, is this the best age to mold and indoctrinate your children?
If you can stomach it, here is a PBS News report--supposedly objective news--promoting DQSH with all the requisite liberal, idiot parents gushing over their experience and how it will be so wonderful for their children to be exposed to LBGTQ individuals.
As if all this isn’t creepy enough, you guessed it. Some of these men dressing as women have been convicted of pedophilia. See this article, or this story, or this one. Robert Lauer, writing for 360 News, Las Vegas, captures the sentiment of all rational adults with the following statement.
“Any reasonable person would see that Drag Queen Story Hour is a train wreck waiting to happen. It’s a program whose goal is to make children feel comfortable about LGBT behaviors. It features cross-dressing homosexual men in garish make-up and costumes who seem obsessed with reading ‘gay’ themed books to very young children. These same men lead bizarre lives as ‘adult’ sex entertainers. What could possibly go wrong?”
What indeed?
Lest you think drag queens are only men dressing as women, think again. July 23rd of this year saw The Muppet Babies enter the fray. Little Gonzo, you see, wants to go to a ball dressed as a princess. Some of the Muppet babies chide him and tell him the dresses are for the girls and he should dress as a knight. His Fairy “Rat Father '' grants his wish to dress as a princess, and he is suddenly transformed into Gonzorella. They’re coming for your children, folks. The LBGTQ agenda is everywhere. Pedophilia is Now Considered a Form of Sexual Orientation
Think you’ve heard everything? How about this? The 5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the American Psychological Association refer to pedophilia as a sexual orientation or preference. They do make a distinction between pedophilia and pedopilic. The latter involves the sexual act with children, while the former just involves the sexual attraction to children without the consummation. Right. Like pedophiles are not right now jumping up and down with joy at finally being accepted into society after being normalized by the APA. Hereafter, every child that gets raped or molested should sue the APA.
Ever wake up and wonder what has happened to the world we live in? I knew we were in trouble when we were told that everyone gets “their own truth.” Hooey! Truth is truth. And let me speak some truth now. Pedophilia is evil and its perpetrators are evil. They rob children of their innocence and leave a wicked legacy: sexually abused children who go on to commit suicide or become abusers themselves. What passes for intellectual enlightenment today is a joke and should be called out. Oh, and let’s not forget that if you are cisgender--that is to say a normal heterosexual--you are now the weirdo, especially if you are white and have children. You are now maligned as a racist breeder. Go figure. What sorrow for those who say...that dark is light and light is dark…
4th of July Parades are Racist, but Gay Pride Parades are Great for Kids
In a June 23rd article in the Boston Review this summer, Yale associate professor of “Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies,” Joseph J. Fischel writes that he favors children being exposed to public and kinky sex acts to combat racism and homophobia. I kid you not. (Is there anyone on the left with an ounce of common sense anymore?) Here is a real gem from the Yale professor.
“Leather chaps and nipple clamps and boys kissing boys and girls kissing girls—even on an otherwise unexceptional Bank of America float—model modes of living and loving that many kids and teenagers attending Pride have never seen…”
I have no words. And, here’s the kill shot:
“What is the presumptive harm if a child happens upon a guy sporting a chest harness, or sees an adult’s butt cheeks, or even an adult’s genitals or breasts? Would such children necessarily feel violated, or might adults be feeling violated on their behalf? Might the child be as likely to respond with curiosity?”
That’s it in a nutshell, folks. Young children should be exposed to kinky sex acts at Gay Pride parades so they can see perverts “living and loving” and “respond with curiosity.”
Yet, these same people (leftists) hate patriotic events like July 4th parades. According to a Harvard study released in 2011, “Fourth of July celebrations tend to turn people into Republicans and help advance the GOP in elections.” It goes on to warn that these celebrations “...shape the nation’s political landscape by forming beliefs and increasing participation, primarily in favor of the Republican Party.” Uh oh. Time to hide the children. Horror of horrors! The kids might grow to love their country, be patriotic, and vote conservatively, or as CNN might put it: they will become white supremacists. To sum up, Gay Pride parades with kinky sex acts are good for children, and July Fourth parades are evil turning children into mind-numbed patriots. Got it. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever...
Hollywood Has Run Amok
I’m sure you’ve noticed how crass and vulgar movies and television have become. This is all brought to us by the anti-Christian, hedonistic Hollywood crowd that hates people in rural America. It is not just a way to “nudge” viewers into accepting--as they view it--a sophisticated mindset, but it’s also a big, fat middle finger to any American with conservative values. Let’s take a look at a few examples.
It’s never a good idea to review a movie or book if you haven’t watched the movie or read the book, but I’m going to do exactly that and will explain why. I’m sure you remember the 50 Shades of Grey craze. First came the book in 2015 which became a blockbuster best seller. The story centers around a 21-year-old student named Ana who attends a West Coast university. She is both a romantic and a virgin. While doing a favor for a friend, Ana meets a mysterious young man who happens to be a billionaire despite only being 27-years-old.
Eventually the young man seduces her, but first she must sign a non-disclosure agreement to prevent her from revealing any details of their sexual encounters. Uh, that’s when I would not walk but run for the door. Unfortunately, the heroine of this story remains and begins a sadomasochistic relationship with her young billionaire love interest whose name ironically is Christian. After repeated sexual encounters, which include bondage and a whipping, Ana finally decides Christian’s practices are deviant and she breaks up with him. So, it took several encounters with this freak to figure that out? Well, I guess it wouldn’t have been a blockbuster had she written him off after seeing his “playroom” filled with sex toys and bondage gear.
I remember hearing about the book from friends close to my age who raved about it. These were not young friends, mind you. They were in their fifties and several were Christians. I was horrified about the content and the fact that Christians were reading this and looking forward to the upcoming movie. Call me a prude if you must, but I choose not to fill my mind with such garbage. The Bible reminds us what we should meditate on. The apostle Paul writes, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
I didn’t read the book or watch the movie because I didn’t want deviant and perverse images infiltrating my thoughts. It’s noteworthy that something God created for men and women to enjoy monogamously as an expression of love, has been so demeaned by writers and Hollywood producers. But, try to remember, they’re sophisticated and you’re not. A loving marriage between a man and woman is something to be mocked and ridiculed. Debauchery and sexual experimentation are to be celebrated. Get with the program.
Another example of Hollywood’s values run amok was the very popular television series Dexter, which ran from 2006-2013 on Showtime. It was promoted as a mystery/drama series, but the main character about whom we are supposed to feel sympathy, is a serial killer. The twist is that he is a good serial killer in that he murders others who have slain people and escaped justice. You see, these other psychopaths are evil, but Dexter Morgan, who incidentally is a blood spatter expert working as a forensic tech in the Miami Metro Police Department, is a tortured butcher. He doesn’t want to kill and tries to suppress the urge to do so, but he makes peace with this by taking out those who got away with their heinous crimes. Yeah, okay. Let’s pull for the vigilante serial killer who is simply misunderstood.
I actually watched a couple of seasons because my husband wanted to watch it, but quit watching because I found it gruesome and couldn’t come to terms with the twisted logic of cheering on a deranged, homicidal hero. Oh, I forgot to mention that in November of this year, Dexter Morgan will once again take up his blood lust in a 10 episode series entitled Dexter: New Blood. Whoo Hoo! I can hardly wait. Remember when those who solved crime were normal like Thomas Magnum, Jim Rockford, Lt. Columbo, and Jessica Fletcher? But, where’s the fun in that, right?
And, just when you thought you’d heard everything, just when you thought Hollywood couldn’t get more corrupt, they shove the series Lucifer down our throats. The series is obviously about Satan (Lucifer Morningstar), who tires of Hell and takes up residence in LA where he runs his own nightclub and consults with the LA Police Department. Lucifer is played by the very handsome Tom Kapinos and aired in 2016, running for three seasons on Fox. When Fox gave it the axe, Netflix picked it up for two more seasons, and it will again grace the TV screen for a final season beginning this September. Another despicable character fed to us as a hero.
But why should we be surprised? The same Hollywood producers wanted us to cheer for a teacher who--after being diagnosed with stage three lung cancer-- chose to supplement his income by cooking up and selling meth with a former student. You may have guessed the title of this questionable series by now: Breaking Bad. It ran on AMC from 2008-2013, and as Wikipedia puts it, “Since its conclusion the show has been lauded by critics as one of the greatest television series of all time.” That’s hard enough to believe, but what’s even harder to imagine is that the show has won 16 Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, two Critics Choice Awards, and four Television Critics Association Awards.
As a former teacher, I could not force myself to watch even a single episode of the series, despite the cajoling of others. A teacher who makes and sells meth, a drug that causes irreparable damage to those using it and to their families and friends, not to mention the deaths caused by the drug, is not something I have any interest in watching. I’ll take Mr. Kotter, Miss Landers, Miss Brooks, or Edward James Olmos’ character, Mr. Escalante, in Stand and Deliver, any day of the week over the meth-making chemistry teacher Walter White.
So, as you might guess, Hollywood with its wholesale lack of any morals, is depriving us of worthy role models. According to a recent survey, 5.6% of adults in the US identify as gay or lesbian. That means a whopping 94.4% of adults are heterosexual, yet if you watch today’s movies and television shows you will note homosexual and transgender characters in nearly every one of them. More nudging? More indoctrination? Even some comic book superheroes are now being portrayed as gay, lesbian or transgender. I’ll probably receive a lot of grief for this, but let me state the obvious. I don’t hate homosexuals or transgender people and am not a homophobe (which implies I’m afraid of homosexuals), but I don’t understand why something that should be private between two people is consistently being force fed to us from the television and movie industry.
And, I feel the same way about heterosexual sex scenes being played out in film. Why are we being made to be voyeurs? The American Psychiatric Association has classified voyeurism as a sexual disorder. I choose not to participate, but it’s getting harder and harder to find anything on television or the big screen today that doesn’t contain gratuitous sex. However, we shouldn’t be bewildered when producers and directors like Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen, and Roman Polanski--all of whom have been involved in immoral sex acts-- create movies with explicit or deviant sex scenes. What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil…
Lying is Noble?
Ever heard of the noble lie? Yeah, I don’t recall learning about that either despite the fact that I have two degrees and remember reading about Plato (the philosopher) who is credited with the idea of the noble lie. First, let’s take apart the phrase, which appears to be an oxymoron. We probably all know the meaning of these two words, but for the sake of clarity, let’s define each. The Free Dictionary defines noble as ”having or showing qualities of high moral character, such as courage, generosity, or honor.” On the other hand, a lie is defined as “a false statement deliberately presented as being true; a falsehood.” It’s hard for me to see how these two words can be combined to create a new term, but according to Wikipedia, the noble lie is “a myth or untruth...knowingly propagated by an elite to maintain social harmony or to advance an agenda.” Wow! That says it all, doesn’t it?
And who better to illustrate “the noble lie” than Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)? Let’s recount the noble lies together, shall we? The first of Fauci’s noble lies during the age of COVID took place in March of 2020 when the good doctor explained to the American public in a 60 Minutes interview that masks were not necessary to combat COVID-19. I remember this well because I traveled to Seattle near the end of March of that year to meet up with a friend for a girls’ weekend. Hardly anyone on the plane was wearing a mask at that time because most believed the trusted advice of the chief medical advisor to President Trump.
Then, a month later, Dr. Fauci reversed his advice and recommended cloth masks for everyone including children. When confronted with this reversal, Anthony Fauci said he felt it necessary to lie to the American public because he feared a run on N-95 masks would create a shortage of the very types of masks health care workers would need. What is interesting to note is that even in April while he reversed course, he lied again. The suggestion by the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for the public to wear cloth masks was a lie of omission. You see, cloth masks do absolutely nothing to prevent the virus from spreading as the virus particles are so microscopically small they go right through a cloth mask. See this article entitled Data Do Not Back Cloth Masks to Limit COVID-19, Experts Say. Once again, Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention endorsed cloth masks to, according to Fauci, “preserve surgical masks and respirators for healthcare workers.”
A second noble lie of Fauci’s dealt with vaccines and herd immunity. Here’s Anthony Fauci in his own words discussing how he could “nudge” more people into getting the shot.
“When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent. Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”
Some will argue, as Fauci has, that this falsehood was necessary to slow down the pandemic. However, lying while hoping to change the public’s behavior is not a good idea because it destroys confidence in government agencies. A far better idea is to put out all data, charts, and information. Most Americans are smart enough to hear the information and decide the best course of action for themselves and their family.
But, Dr. Fauci isn’t the only government official who tells noble lies. President Biden told the public that after receiving the so-called vaccine (If you have to keep taking booster shots, it’s not a vaccine. It’s a yearly shot like the one millions get every fall in hopes of avoiding the flu.) people could go back to leading normal lives. No more social distancing. No more face burqas. And, no more lockdowns. He told this noble lie because it was to act as a carrot to get more people vaccinated.
However, when the noble lie didn’t work, and the peasants found out that COVID-19 is more survivable than the flu, the Biden regime decided a stick would work better than a carrot. Using the Delta variant, a more contagious but not more lethal form of COVID, we are being told to mask up regardless of whether or not we’ve received the shot. Further, Biden is encouraging businesses to ask for vaccine passports to gain entrance into their establishments, and possible lockdowns loom large in the near future. So much for “noble.” When the hoi polloi reject the lie and think for themselves, fascists instigate punishment until the masses comply.
We would all do well to remember that a lie is a lie. It’s not noble. The Bible reminds us that Satan is the father of lies and, according to Proverbs, “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord…” Lying also leads to distrust and divides rather than unites people. One can never know how a lie will be perceived and what consequences may ensue, which is what Sir Walter Scott intended to convey with these words: “Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.” What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever...
“Peaceful Protests” vs. an “Insurrection”
You would have to have been in a coma for over four years not to know about the Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa riots that have plagued our country since Trump was elected president. Prior to BLM and Antifa, rioters in Washington DC protesting at the Trump inauguration, wreaked havoc on the city. According to Mike LaChance, writing for Legal Insurrection, “Rioters set fires, harassed and assaulted people, threw bricks, and worse.” Just a few of the rioters were held accountable for their actions, and thanks to the ACLU, now the rioters are getting a big cash settlement. Washington DC will be paying these thugs $1.6 million dollars in damages (never mind the damage they did to the city and inauguration participants). Apparently, over 200 rioters were “detained...without access to food, water, or restrooms for up to 16 hours.” Cry me a river! Not one of the rioters was physically abused during these sixteen hours.
Next, let’s turn to Antifa. The moniker is a shortening of their real name: anti-fascist. But, what is a fascist? Merriam-Webster provides a good definition: “In simplest terms, fascism refers to a specific way of organizing a society: under fascism, a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people in that society, and allows no dissent or disagreement.” Huh? This sounds a lot like our current government under President Joe Biden. Under the Biden regime, citizens must wear masks despite the lack of scientific evidence supporting their efficacy. Further, Lunch bucket Joe is contemplating forcing everyone in the country to get the COVID shot, and encouraging businesses to check individuals’ “vaccine passport” prior to entry into their establishments. Vhere are your papers, citizen? In addition, the Biden administration extols and encourages social media sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter to squelch any information that doesn’t comport with their views on a number of issues. Fascism anyone? But, I digress. Back to the topic at hand.
Now that you understand the meaning of fascist, consider how Antifa operates. In his article, Origins of Antifa, Matthew Vadum tells us that Antifa has been described as “a revolutionary communist-anarchist militia movement that aspires to forcibly overthrow the United States government, [and] is responsible for a level of sustained political street warfare not seen in the U.S. since the 1960s.” Overthrow the government? That sounds like an insurrection to me. Despite their name, these goons use fascistic tactics to intimidate people who don’t share their political beliefs.
Often dressed in black with helmets and masks (to prevent identification), and carrying weapons like knives, bats, metal pipes, paint guns, and homemade shields, they exact their form of “justice” on anyone they believe is a conservative, Christian, or a Trump supporter. Their tactics are very reminiscent of Nazi Storm Troopers. Here they are disrupting a Christian pastor and attendees having an outdoor service in a Portland, Oregon park because Antifa believes in de-platforming—the action or practice of preventing someone holding views regarded as unacceptable or offensive from contributing to a forum or debate, especially by blocking them on a particular website—anyone who is not a leftist. As true fascists, they will not allow or tolerate any dissenting voices to be heard.
Additionally, they have also destroyed thriving cities like Portland. Among other crimes, they have defaced public property like statues and state and federal buildings as well as creating such long running mayhem that many citizens have moved out of Portland or simply do not travel into the sections of the city where Antifa are prevalent.
And, what are we to make of the Black Lives Matter organization? It was founded in 2013 by a trio of black women who--in their own words--have been Marxist trained. It was created as a reaction to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by an Hispanic man named George Zimmerman. Their proposed mission is to have people value Black lives as much as Caucasian lives. But, therein lies the problem. BLM claims that African Americans are more likely to be killed by White cops than other racial groups. Unfortunately, that just doesn’t jibe with the statistics. In a 2016 article for the Daily Wire, Aaron Bandler writes that, “data compiled by The Washington Post, [show that] 50 percent of the victims of fatal police shootings were white, while 26 percent were black. The majority of these victims had a gun or were armed or otherwise threatening the officer with potentially lethal force.” Facts matter, but so many today have bought into the BLM ideology or at least their grievances which bear no semblance of reality.
Interestingly, the tactics used by Antifa are also used by BLM. They claim what they are doing is protesting police brutality in major cities or the deaths of “innocent” African Americans by racist police officers. But, they do much more than protest. Often they use violence to make their points. Here is an example of BLM “peaceful” protests.
So, who is funding these two groups of anarchists with communist leanings? A major contributor is George Soros, the Hungarian-born billionaire who funds leftist groups. Not only has he funded Antifa and BLM, but he has also funded the campaigns of big city district attorneys. Have you noticed how major cities in the US are awash in crime? That’s no accident. The DAs funded by Soros all have one thing in common: they all believe the criminal justice system is systemically racist.
According to James Varney, writing in the Washington Times in August of this year, these DAs have decided to rectify this by refusing to prosecute low-level crimes like shoplifting, disorderly conduct, vagrancy, and loitering. For example, in San Francisco, thieves can steal up to $950 worth of goods as that is now considered a misdemeanor. This has obviously emboldened criminals, and stores like Walgreens have had to shutter seventeen outlets in the city by the Bay. Basically, it has become a revolving door situation where the police catch criminals, but they are quickly released oftentimes with no bond required. The police are frustrated and citizens are moving out of these major metropolises.
Despite real criminals and the thugs destroying our cities through rioting and not being held responsible, hundreds of Trump supporters are still languishing in jail after the January 6th “insurrection.” Many have no idea when they will get out and are being mistreated by the guards. What ever happened to the sixth amendment and a speedy trial? Sure, there were some bad actors in the crowd, but many were ordinary citizens going to the people’s house to support Trump and express their disapproval of the cheating which took place leading to a Biden Presidency.
The problem for Nancy Pelosi and her leftist cohorts is that no one knows what charge to bring against many of these people who were let into the capitol by the capitol police themselves. Check out this video. One man, a registered democrat who dressed as a Trump supporter on January 6th, was charged with “illegal parading.” Go figure. Nevertheless, the point is that many middle aged and elderly conservatives who simply wanted to express their dissatisfaction with the election process have been treated like hardened criminals while the real criminals are the hooligans who populate the Antifa and BLM movements. What sorrow for those who take bribes to let the wicked go free, and… punish the innocent…
These Are Dark Times. Are You Ready?
Evil does indeed reign supreme in the United States today. We would do well to remember that Satan is the father of evil, and he has unleashed wickedness across this nation on a scale we’ve never seen before. William Goodhart, author of The Exorcist II: The Heretic once said, “Evil is a spiritual being, alive and living, perverted and perverting, weaving its way insidiously into the very fabric of life.” No truer words were ever said. As was mentioned at the beginning of this blog post, we don’t know the time or day of Jesus’ return, but he told us to look for the signs. I submit that the sheer volume of evil coursing through our culture today is clearly a guidepost. If you are not a believer, it may be time to get right with God. You can do this by admitting to God that you are a sinner, turning away from your sins, and asking Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. John 3:16 is calling to anyone who will listen: “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
